6. Take 5 minute showers.

1. Replace regular light bulbs with fluorescent.

(Only $1 at Dollar Tree! They use 75% less energy than Incandescent ones)

2. Turn off unnecessary lights.

3. Set thermostat at 68 degrees in the daytime and 80 degrees at night.

4. Paint your walls a light color if you live in warm areas and a dark color in cooler areas.

5. Use timers for lights and even the T.V.!!!
